Suicide Grief Support Group
Did you lose someone you love to suicide?
Survivors of suicide are people who have lost a loved one to suicide. “Losing a loved one to suicide is difficult and can come with a lot of complicated emotions. There is support available to help survivors of suicide loss like you, your friends and family cope with the loss.” (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
Find the support you need at the Suicide Grief Support Group. The Survivors After Suicide Support Group is a peer-led group that is free to all persons who have experienced a suicide death in the four-county area. The group offers compassionate and confidential support. The goals of the support group are to:
- Acknowledge survivor’s pain in a safe environment
- Encouragement from others who have lost a loved one
- Teach healthy coping skills
The groups meet at the Four County ADAMhs Board (T-761 St. Rt. 66, Archbold, Ohio 43502) with facilitator Amanda Waldfogel on the 1st Thursday of every month from 7pm to 8:30pm. A second option is also available on the 3rd Friday of every month from 9am to 10:30am.
