Agency Spotlight – Ohio Guidestone
Ohio Guidestone offers a variety of programs and services to support the need for mental health care in our communities. These services include outpatient mental health counseling and outpatient psychiatric services.
Ohio Guidestone is also now a Certified Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). CCBHC promotes timely access to mental health care. This includes 24/7 Crisis Services available for those in a mental health crisis. This also includes a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Walk-In clinic available at our 600 Freedom Drive location Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm. Anyone can come to this clinic and meet with a Care Coordinator who will meet with the client to discuss their needs, aid in problem solving and help link the client with mental health services. This could include an immediate referral to complete a Diagnostic Evaluation for services, a referral to Crisis Prevention for an emergency mental health assessment, or continued monitoring by Care Coordination to help the client address other factors impacting their mental health. This could include referral to housing, food, transportation or employment services. Clients seen for Crisis Services out in the community are also referred to Care Coordination following a crisis.
