Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio – Serenity Spring

Serenity Spring is an 8 bed Women’s Recovery Home that is abstinence based. The Recovery Home is located just outside Wauseon city limits. It provides stable and sober housing for adult women. Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio (RSNWO) provide both substance use disorder and mental health treatment in our outpatient offices in each of the four counties, as well as women’s residential treatment at our Fayette location. RSNWO is hosting the Serenity Spring open house at a the end of May.

Who is eligible to receive services?

Recovery housing is available for Adult women aged 18 and over in Williams, Henry, Defiance, and Fulton counties with a moderate to severe substance use disorder. Residents wanting to apply may be required to complete a recovery plan of action for their first 60 days of recovery. Residents will agree to sober support meetings, house rules, and to follow all treatment recommendations.

People who live in recovery housing have a relapse rate of 31% as opposed to the national average of 40-60% relapse rate. Recognizing the importance of Recovery Housing and sober living in our area is important. The community can help by supporting the efforts of the people in our community to supplement their recovery efforts.

What else can the community do to help?

Donations to assist with housing costs can be accepted on our web site. We are currently hiring evening and weekend monitors. Individuals can get information about the position, and apply on our website.
